Personal Series

A short series on a wide variety of different personalities acting out ‘anger’ – it’s interest in how well people can do so and how genuine people can, hopefully, make the expressions come across.
I want the viewer of the photograph to intercept hostility and true, actual emotion through acting for myself as well as the camera.
This will all be triggered by how I plan on building up a firm rapport with the sitter by communicatively finding out the one factor of which for good reason or maybe no good reason makes that individual angry on a day to day basis.
I want to derive one’s ‘front’ and one’s not so beautiful side, so to speak, to make this present in the photograph – I’d like to do this through giving the subject enough comfort to confide in myself and through loosening that person up enough to ultimately feel confident enough to shout/scream/curse at the camera whilst acting out how they feel at that time, whether it be jumping, stomping, throwing fists or even none of the previously stated. – That’s the beauty of every person being so unique, there’s always going to be a fairly different reaction to a person’s feeling.
